# Alps library data licences

Each track in this library keeps the licence of its source. The `s` field of every row in
`index.json` names the source; `index.json.sources` lists the licence and attribution.

- `c2c`: route geometry and names from Camptocamp.org collaborative route documents,
  © Camptocamp.org contributors. Collaborative content is CC BY-SA; its geographic coordinates are
  dual-licensed CC BY-SA / ODbL. https://www.camptocamp.org
- `swisstopo`: ski routes ©swisstopo, produced with the Swiss Alpine Club SAC, under the swisstopo
  free geodata (OGD) terms with the source reference "©swisstopo". opendata.swiss lists this
  dataset as "commercial use requires permission of the data owner", so written permission from

Each record links to its original document. Keep that attribution when you reuse or export a
track. See docs/ALPS_LIBRARY.md for how the data was selected and deduplicated.
